About SearchTuners

Performance marketing, built around accountability.

SearchTuners was built from a single frustration: agencies that optimize for the wrong metrics because nobody holds them accountable to revenue.

We crunch conversion and campaign data with AI to fine-tune paid media, lead funnels, and marketing automation. The work is measurable. The data is yours. The contracts don't require you to stay.

How we operate

Four principles that shape every engagement.

01
01 //

Accountable to revenue, not activity.

Most agencies survive indefinitely by showing you metrics they can control — reach, frequency, click-through rate. When those numbers fill a dashboard, the revenue question never has to come up. We built SearchTuners to reverse this: every engagement is scoped around a revenue target, measured against real outcomes, and reported without the flattering filters.

02
02 //

Month-to-month, because you should be able to leave.

A contract that requires lock-in to retain clients isn't a retention strategy — it's a structural excuse not to perform. Our standard plans are month-to-month with 30 days notice. If we're not making meaningful progress, you should be able to leave. That pressure is deliberate. It keeps us focused on the right things.

03
03 //

You own everything. No exceptions.

Your ad accounts, your code, your dashboards, your data. We never build in shadow accounts or proprietary black boxes you can't see into. When you leave, you take everything and it keeps working. Any agency that retains your assets when you leave isn't protecting their IP — they're protecting a mess they don't want you to see.

Audit before we touch anything.

We don't make changes to live campaigns before we understand what's already running. The first 10 business days are an audit: campaigns, attribution, funnel analytics, martech stack. You get a written 90-day roadmap with projected impact before we touch anything. Optimizing without visibility isn't growth — it's expensive guesswork.

Our process

No surprises. From day one.

Every engagement follows the same structure: audit before we touch anything live, written roadmap before we start building, and real-time visibility from the moment work goes live.

The rule

We don't touch live campaigns before we understand what's already there. The roadmap comes before the execution. Every time.

1
Days 1–5
Account access & onboarding
Credential collection, team intro, discovery brief. No pressure, no urgency to skip ahead.
2
Days 5–10
Full audit
Campaigns, attribution model, funnel analytics, martech stack. We map what's working, what's leaking, and what's misleading.
3
Days 10–14
90-Day roadmap delivered
Written plan. Prioritized by impact. Projected outcomes. You see the whole picture before we execute any of it.
4
Day 14+
First optimizations live
Highest-leverage items first — bid logic, attribution, initial tests. Measurable from week one, not quarter three.
5
Ongoing
Weekly / monthly reviews
Regular syncs, real-time dashboard access, documented change logs. No surprises. No news is not good news — we report proactively.

Constraints

What we won't do.

Constraints are what make a commitment credible. These are ours.

×

Guarantee specific ROAS figures

Anyone who does is cherry-picking conditions or lying. We offer transparency, real-time data, and a track record you can verify.

×

Take a percentage of ad spend

It misaligns our incentives toward volume over efficiency. Flat retainers mean we're incentivized to make every dollar work harder, not to spend more of yours.

×

Build shadow accounts or hold your data

Everything is yours — accounts, code, dashboards, pipelines. Documented and portable from day one. Leave and it all goes with you.

×

Wait for you to raise the alarm

We monitor proactively. If something underperforms, you hear from us before you have to ask. The 60-day milestone review is mandatory, not optional.

×

Recommend scope before you're ready

We start with what moves the needle first and expand from there. No upselling into complexity before the foundation is generating returns.

×

Report on vanity metrics in isolation

Reach and impressions only appear when they correlate to revenue downstream. Otherwise they're noise filling a dashboard to make inaction look like activity.

The team

Who you actually talk to.

Small team, deep expertise. You are talking to the person doing the work — not an account manager who forwards your questions to a specialist.

JS

Joe Sinnona

Founder & Head of Strategy

Runs the strategy layer across every engagement. 12 years in performance marketing across DTC, B2B SaaS, and multi-location. Previously ran acquisition for a mid-market SaaS through a $40M ARR ramp.

MB

Mike Bertelli

Partner & Head of Operations

Owns delivery, systems, and the automated optimization layer that runs across all accounts. Background in growth engineering — the person who actually builds the CAPI + attribution + dashboard infrastructure most agencies claim to have.

PM

Paid Media Strategist

Senior Media Strategist

Owns day-to-day Google, Meta, and cross-channel media strategy on assigned accounts. Runs the 15-minute optimization loop, drives creative testing cadence, and reports directly to clients.

FE

Funnel Engineer

Lead Funnel Engineer

Builds and diagnoses conversion funnels end to end. Session-level friction analysis, drop-off diagnostics, and the CRM automation that connects paid media leads to real pipeline outcomes.

We keep the team small on purpose. Adding people faster than we can vet them is how agencies get bad — junior AMs handling accounts they cannot actually optimize, senior strategists spread across too many logos to focus. We grow when we can maintain the standard.
